This piece represents the last several years of my journey in community. From my once dark past to becoming a lens for our community.
Â
Each photo captures a moment in time across the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Central Valley; Washington to even Utah; places, people, events, and organizations that have shaped my path. Through a camera lens, I've had the privilege of documenting culture, leading workshops, connecting with youth, and building lasting friendships along the way. These images are more than memories; they're a reflection of the relationships, stories, and experiences that have made this journey meaningful. I'm deeply grateful to have shared space with so many incredible people and to have witnessed the strength, beauty, and spirit that exists within our community. The piece is a reminder that no matter your starting position - there’s always a chance to lead with your God given light.
